Brookie in Japan!

You know, we have Brook trout in Japan too!

That stream is Yukawa river in Oku Nikko.
It takes three hours by train from Tokyo to Nikko station, and takes more one hour by bus to the stream.
The stream is running a part of moorland "Senjogahara" and this is very unique trout river in Japan.

A hundred years ago, Japanese government took on many foreigner who are many type of specialists for modernization. You know, Samurai had to change corporate employee.
Oku Nikko area is their popular place for a summer retreat and they imported Brook trouts.
Brook trouts keep alive over a hundred year and we enjoy fishing for wild brookie, now!

A variation of Royal coachman.

Fished up also baby.

Good by lovely spotted!

It was precious time!
