We call this fish to "Maruta-Woogooi" or "Maruta" and normally they live in sea. But they are entering to the river for spawning on Spring.

Urban "HANAMI" paddling, Tokyo 2013

We went to "Hanami" paddling in last weekend.

Do you know "Hanami" culture in Japan? It means go to viewing to Cherry-Blossom. Actually almost Japanese are going to "Hanami" around there on flower season.

You know, normally when I fishing just catch and release but sometime I cook trout, one or two times per year. I think it would be natural. 
If you also cook your trout, your wife would forgive you fishing again. ;)
